Your rights and our process for requesting a refund on our educational programmes and frameworks.

1. Our Commitment

Detoxificationpo is committed to being transparent and fair regarding refunds. We want you to be confident in your decision to engage with our educational resources and frameworks.

2. Scope of This Policy

This policy applies to purchases of paid educational products, plans, programmes, and consulting sessions provided by Detoxificationpo. It does not apply to free resources or information provided at no charge.

3. Cooling-Off Period (Consumer Rights)

Under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, if you are a consumer (an individual acting outside the course of a trade or business), you have a statutory right to cancel any contract for services within 14 calendar days of the date the contract is agreed (the "cooling-off period").

If you request that we begin delivering the service during the cooling-off period, you acknowledge that your right to cancel may be affected. Specifically:

  • If the service has been fully performed during the cooling-off period with your prior consent, you lose the right to cancel.
  • If the service is partially delivered, you may cancel but will be liable to pay for the proportion of the service already provided.

4. How to Request a Refund or Cancellation

Please include your name, the date of purchase, and a brief description of the service purchased. We will confirm receipt of your request within two UK working days.

5. Refund Eligibility

5.1 Digital Educational Products

If a digital product (such as a downloadable guide, workbook, or framework document) has been accessed or downloaded, the right to a refund under the digital content exception to consumer cancellation rights may be limited. We will assess each request on a case-by-case basis and aim to act reasonably.

5.2 Consulting Sessions

Cancellation of a scheduled consulting session with more than 48 hours' notice will result in a full refund or rescheduled session. Cancellations with less than 48 hours' notice may result in partial or no refund at our discretion, unless the cancellation is due to circumstances beyond your reasonable control.

5.3 Programme Enrolments

For multi-week programmes:

  • Cancellation before the programme commences: full refund.
  • Cancellation within the first week of the programme: pro-rata refund for unused weeks.
  • Cancellation after week one: no refund for weeks already commenced, but no further charges apply where the programme was offered as a one-time fee.

6. Refund Processing

Approved refunds will be processed within 14 calendar days of the date we confirm your refund is approved. Refunds will be made to the original payment method used. We are not responsible for delays imposed by third-party payment processors.

7. Non-Refundable Items

The following are not eligible for refund:

  • Free resources and informational materials provided at no charge.
  • Services where delivery has been fully completed with your prior written consent during the cooling-off period.
  • Fees for services already rendered and accepted where cancellation was not requested within the applicable timeframe.

8. Faulty or Incorrectly Delivered Services

If a service or product is not delivered as described, or is delivered incorrectly, please contact us within 14 days of discovery. We will investigate promptly and offer a remedy which may include a replacement, correction, or full refund as appropriate.

9. Statutory Rights

This policy does not affect your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 or any other applicable UK consumer protection legislation. If you believe your statutory rights have not been respected, you may contact the Citizens Advice Bureau or the Competition and Markets Authority for further guidance.

10. Changes to This Policy

We reserve the right to update this Refund Policy. The effective date at the top of this page indicates the most recent revision. Changes do not affect rights acquired under a previous version of this policy.
